Translated: First of all, I would like to extend my respectful greetings and heartfelt thanks to the generous sponsors of the Perspective Charity. My full name is Pham Huong Giang, and I am currently a sophomore at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities – a school I once only dared to dream about.
At first, when faced with the choice between continuing my education or going to work, I hesitated many times because of the difficult circumstances of my family. But during those moments of uncertainty, the Perspective Charity Association extended a helping hand, rekindling my faith and enabling me to move forward confidently on the education path.
The scholarships I received are not only of material value but also a message that I am not alone. They remind me that there are people, even those I have never met, willing to trust and give. This reality not only gives me strength but also teaches me lessons about compassion and responsibility toward the community.
Once again, I sincerely thank all the benefactors who have accompanied and supported not only me but also many other young people on their journey to pursue their dreams. Wishing all benefactors and your families good health, happiness, and a prosperous new year filled with success.

Dear Perspective Charity Family! My fullname is Nguyen Thi Tai Tam, currently a sophomore at the University of Foreign Languages, Hue University. Today, I’d like to share my story from the academic year 2023–2024 with everyone.
Over the past year, I have had the chance to experience many new and meaningful things through both studying and working part-time. My studies have been much more demanding, with twice the amount of knowledge compared to my freshman year. In my first year, the Chinese characters were large, and translations in Vietnamese and English were readily available. If I didn’t understand a Chinese word, I could easily refer to the translations for support. However, in my second year, I encountered an entirely new level of learning. The books are filled with dense Chinese text, the characters are smaller, and there’s significantly more content than in the first year! Nonetheless, I’ve been working hard every day, staying diligent in my studies. I always keep in mind the advice from everyone: “You have to work hard and study diligently to escape poverty and achieve success.” Now, I no longer face many difficulties in my studies, and I feel much more effective in learning.
The second experience I remember most vividly is working part-time (50cents per hr). On mornings when I don’t have classes, I work from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. On days when I have classes, I work three-hour shifts, either from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. or from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thanks to this job, I’ve met two aunts, my bosses, and several new friends. I’ve gained valuable experiences and learned many beautiful lessons. Please don’t laugh at me, but it was through this job that I learned what “bac xiu” is – a drink made of coffee and milk, with more milk than coffee ☺. Although the work is tiring, being able to help my mother in some way makes me incredibly happy. I always remind myself that my mom back in the countryside is working a hundred, even a thousand times harder than I am. My greatest source of motivation to persevere through studying and working is this big family of Perspective Charity. You have always been my pillar of support, helping me both materially and spiritually.
I could go on and on, but it’s getting late, so I’ll stop here for now. And finally, I would like to extend my most sincere and heartfelt gratitude to the organization, the benefactors, and all the generous sponsors. I wish all of you good health, happiness, and peace. I also wish all my friends diligence, effort in studying, good fortune, and success in the upcoming exams. (Translated by Tài Tâm)

My name is Thu and I would like to share about my family in 2024. This year, my family has experienced both joys and sorrows. First, the sad story: My mother was diagnosed with a severe illness – a stroke that led to a brain hemorrhage and partial paralysis. She was hospitalized for two months and has been at home for one month now. At home, she is bedridden and requires assistance from family members for everything, including personal hygiene. As for the happy story, my family has received scholarships and support from kind sponsors and charitable organizations, which have helped ease some of our financial burden. That’s all I wanted to share. Thank you! (Translated by Tài Tâm)
